United Day School seeks academically able students who will benefit from an advance program. UDS admits qualified students without regard to race, national or ethnic origin, or religion.
GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES FOR ADMISSION:
Open House: You are cordially invited to visit the school. The school sponsors an Admission Open House in February each year for all entering PK- K parents and students. In addition to the school’s Open House, parents/guardians are welcome to schedule individual tours and visits. Please call the office at 956-723-7261 or e-mail the school at info@unitedday.org for the Open House date or to schedule an individual visit.
Application Procedure: The admissions process begins with the completion and submission of the Enrollment Application. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 is required at the time of processing the application.

Testing: All entering students must receive an educational evaluation. A developmental test will be administered to students entering the Pre-Kindergarten class. An achievement test will be administered to all students entering Kindergarten through 8th grades that measures levels of achievement in reading, language, and mathematics. Screening tests are used to verify that the child possesses above average cognitive social skills to cope with an advanced curriculum. Entrance exams are administered starting each March. The school will notify each family to arrange testing and to confirm test dates.
Notification: Parents/guardians will be notified concerning the outcome of the testing process once the above procedures have been completed. Notification of the test results will occur as soon as possible after testing is completed.
